Australia Post
You can redirect your mail for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months for a permanent move, or up to a chosen date if you’re only moving temporarily. Australia Post will require 3 full business days to process your redirection application.
House Keys
Arrange for the collection of keys for your new address. Have spares cut, if needed. Return keys for your previous address.
Gas and Electricity
If you’re moving to another address, call your gas and electricity supplier to have the supply disconnected. Provide your forwarding address for the final meter reading. Arrange connection at your your new address.
Telephone
Arrange disconnection of the existing service and arrange connection at the new address.
Internet
Check your connection options at your new address well in advance of moving. You might be able to choose between cable and ADSL or even the NBN.
Home and Contents Insurance
Arrange a cover note on your new premises or transfer your insurance to your new address.
Schools
Notify the old school of the move and enrol children in their new school.
Transport
Change license and vehicle registration details.
Cancel Regular Deliveries
